FEBRUARY MEETING

PLACE     Harbour Towers Hotel, 345 Quebec Street

TIME       Reception at 6:30 p.m.; Dinner at 7:00 p.m.

 

PROGRAM - OUR ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET

We will be having a buffet. The MENU will be Rolls and Butter, Tossed Green Salad, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Pasta Salad, Greek Salad, Beets and Pickle Tray, Carved Roast Beef, Roast Potatoes, Fresh Vegetables, Fruit Salad, Pecan Pie, Creme Carmel, Assorted Bars and Squares, Coffee/Tea/Decaffeinated.

We will have LUCKY NUMBER DRAWS throughout the  evening. VIDEOS entered in the Annual Contest and the winners from the clubs other contests will be shown. The winners of the contests will be presented their awards.

TICKETS are $25.00 per person. If you have not yet purchased yours, please mail or deliver your cheque (payable to the "Victoria Video Club") to our treasurer, Hugh Fraser,1246 Judge Place, Victoria, B. C., V8P 2C6. It must be received no later than March 2, as we need to know by that date how many people will be coming. You may bring as many guests as you wish.

OUR NEXT EXECUTIVE MEETING will be held on Monday, February 23, at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Margaret Chamberlain.

THE ASSIGNED SUBJECT CONTEST deadline will be the April 27 meeting. This year the topic will be "Signs." It may be up to four minutes long, including titles and credits. You may enter as many videos as you please.

THE ONE MINUTE CONTEST deadline is the May 25 meeting. In this contest, your videos may be on any subject but they must be no longer than one minute in length, including titles and credits. There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit and you may put more than one entry on a video cassette (this contest only).

UPDATING OF CLUB'S VIDEO LIBRARY If you have any videos that you would like to donate to the club's library, please contact Sheila. These could be instructional videos, videos produced by a video club group (our club or another club), your personal winners, etc.
