David Fuller will give a demonstration on "Layering Sound".
Club production this fall? There will be a discussion on this led by Michael Veronneau.
We will have movies to watch, enjoy, and maybe discuss a bit...

THE NEXT EXECUTIVE MEETING - will be held on Monday October 2, at 7:00pm at the home of Peter Kappel.

OUR CLUB DUES for the coming season are now due. These are $35 per individual membership, $40 same address family and $10 non-attending associate member.

THE "GOODIES" for the September meeting will be provided by Sheila Perkins.

THE CLUB'S LEARNING LIBRARY We have several more new books in the library. All are described on our club website. Check it out! To borrow a book(s), contact Sheila. Books may be picked up or will be delivered to the next club meeting. Please return any books that you have had out for a month or longer.

THE 'ANYTHING GOES' CONTEST deadline is the September 26 meeting. In this contest, you may use video generated by your computer. None of the footage needs to be shot by you. Entries may be on any topic but may be no longer than ten minutes in length.

THE 'SONG TITLE' CONTEST deadline is the October ? meeting. In this contest, you are to produce a video based on the words of a song of your choice. Your entries may be up to 6 minutes long. 

CLUB PRODUCTION FOR THE FALL - Thank you everyone who attended the May 2006 "Ideas" workshop. We had some fun and came up with some great ideas for a club production. A summary of the ideas from the workshop were distributed at the June hopefully folks have had a chance to go over these a few times. Bring your handout to the September meeting as we will be discussion a club production for the fall.

THE CLUB VIDEO "THE BIRTH OF JESUS" has received the first runner-up award in the SCCA Annual Competition, Class "D", the Garlick Trophy. This category represents the best SCCA club film/video of the year.

VISITORS are always welcome at our meetings. Bring along a friend.
